[He's quiet a moment, and then:]

I'll be back in five minutes, anyways, you can just say then.

Then I'll say then. It's nothing huge, Sirius, don't worry about it.

Then you'd think you'd be able to just say it.

[But, anyways. About ten minutes later and he does come back to the room, shrugging off his jacket and slumping onto his bed face-first, with a huge sigh. After a moment, he turns his head to look for Remus.]

[He'd been reading restlessly; his book is tossed on his bed-- and now he rolls to his side, considering Sirius.]

Tired, then?

[doggedly]

Terribly.

[He cocks his head at Remus, trying to catch sight of that book.]

Something about civil wars. I don't know, it's boring. What are you tired from?

This bloody ship. Not being ill anymore. Climbing trees. Thinking really hard. Harassing people. So, the usual, really.

[He presses his face against his pillow for a moment again, then twists back to look at Remus once more.]
