The One Where Remus Got Drunk
[It's been a good night. Home alone, some classical music on the radio, a large and dusty book, and a bottle of red wine to sip at while he reads. Sirius is out doing something-- Auror training, Remus thinks vaguely, but he's not entirely certain-- but the point is, Remus has some time to himself.
He didn't mean to get drunk, not really. It was just hard to resist a second glass of wine after he'd had his first, and then a third after his second-- and the wine tasted so delicious, and he'd been so thirsty-- and then he's peering at the bottom of the bottle with a chuckle, because what even happened to it all!
Ah, but that's a question for another time-- because there's someone at the front door, and Remus knows precisely who it is. And he's so happy his boyfriend is home, happy enough that he stumbles to his feet to go and let him in.]

Not that he's not pleased to come home to Remus. There is nothing better than coming home to Remus so that, even now, as he approaches the door to their flat, he starts to smile. The jingle of his keys cheers him immensely, and he's fitting them into the lock when the door opens and there's Remus, flushed and happy and clean.]
Hullo sir, your boyfriend's not home, is he? I have to know, before I come in--I don't want to get walked in on--
[There's a whiff, then, of something beyond him, and Sirius leans forward a little with an experimental sniff.]
What's that smell? Wine?
no subject
[He practically cheers that, happy that Sirius has guessed it, happy that Sirius is home, happy that he looks so lovely, all sweaty and motorbike-greasy and fantastic-- Remus leans forward, pressing against Sirius, beaming up at him.]
I missed you-- and I had wine-- because I missed you so much--
no subject
Is that so. And did you save any for me, or did you drink absolutely all of it.
whoops wrong journal OH WELL
[He frowns and shifts, letting Sirius shed his jacket as he thinks.]
Miiiiight have drank all of it. Drunken? Which is it, do you think? I think it's drank-- I think it is, I'm not sure, I should look that up--
I thought you meant I had answered with the wrong journal and I was like WAIT BUT but now I see.....
[He shrugs his jacket right onto the floor and grabs for Remus' hand, grinning.]
Don't leave me for a grammar book, please. Anyway, it's drank, anything else would sound stupid-- and how dare you have drank it all, you'd better kiss me to make up for it--
you got me girl
[He says that with narrowed eyes-- but oh, kissing Sirius is fun. Very fun. Remus chuckles softly, happily, and leans heavily against his boyfriend.]
I can't kiss you.
FOREVER CONFUSED jj (just jesting)
[He looks down at him, a little stung by that--or at least affecting a face of deep offense.]
Why the hell not, what's wrong with me?
no subject
[He sighs and pushes his face against Sirius' chest.]
There's two of you. And-- and we're in the hall--
no subject
Ooh, you drunken sot. There's one of me, and there's nothing wrong with kissing in the hall. I like kissing in the hall. Can I kiss you, even if you won't kiss me?
no subject
People are gonna see. Can't-- can't kiss here. Nooo, come in, then you can kiss me-- and do more--
no subject
[But he relents, because drunk Remus is always amusing, and God forbid he disappoint him--that is significantly less amusing. So he twists out of their embrace and gently takes him by the hand, tugging him into the flat proper.]
Which room are we kissing and more in, then, what's your preference.
no subject
Theeeee couch! Yeah. There--
[He stumbles forward, sort of half-tripping over his feet, laughing as he does, trying to lead the way.]
I missed you, you know-- a lot-- I hate when you train, it's so boring, I miss you and-- and I get jealous--
no subject
Jealous of what, jealous of the training? Don't be-- you know I'd rather be here, having you get me all sore instead--
no subject
[He flops across his lap when they finally sit, and beams up at him. Adoringly:]
I love you.
no subject
There's not much to be jealous of, you know I'm only interested in-- [Ah, but love, and Remus laying stretched across his lap. He grins and leans down to kiss him, on the forehead.] I love you too. Especially when you're squiffy.
no subject
Mmmnot squiffy. Just . . . just a little. Not much.
[And then, in an effort to prove how not drunk he is:]
What-- what did you do today?
no subject
You are, actually. I know when you're squiffy because you get that smile, the one you've got on right now--
[But, laughing, he relents to the question.]
I did top-secret things and learnt a charm to blow a hole in a concrete wall. What did you do, besides get squiffy for me.
no subject
[He sighs heavily and flips over, mushing his face against Sirius' leg.]
What sorts of secret things?
no subject
[He taps Remus' nose, gently, grinning at him.]
And they're secret secret things.
no subject
[He tilts his head back, trying valiantly to nip at Sirius' finger (whichever the real one is) (he's not sure) (the one on the left?)]
no subject
[He laughs again at that clumsy mouthing--there is no real bite to it, just Remus, sort of vaguely gumming at him--but he allows it as he goes on.]
I'll tell you some other secret if you like.
no subject
[Although he pouts a little.]
Still. You should . . . you should tell me all secret-y things. All of them.
no subject
[He cocks his head at Remus, his eyes narrowed a little.]
Want to know how?
no subject
[He draws the word out-- howwwwww-- and mumbles it a few times afterwards, liking the way it tastes.]
It's with sex, isn't it?
no subject
Well. Don't sound so excited.
