The One Where Remus Got Drunk

[It's been a good night. Home alone, some classical music on the radio, a large and dusty book, and a bottle of red wine to sip at while he reads. Sirius is out doing something-- Auror training, Remus thinks vaguely, but he's not entirely certain-- but the point is, Remus has some time to himself.

He didn't mean to get drunk, not really. It was just hard to resist a second glass of wine after he'd had his first, and then a third after his second-- and the wine tasted so delicious, and he'd been so thirsty-- and then he's peering at the bottom of the bottle with a chuckle, because what even happened to it all!

Ah, but that's a question for another time-- because there's someone at the front door, and Remus knows precisely who it is. And he's so happy his boyfriend is home, happy enough that he stumbles to his feet to go and let him in.]

[He murmurs that against his mouth, and kisses him again, a little more gentle than Remus' kisses.]

I know. You don't need to say it. You're irritable and a prat sometimes and I'm a prick and just as irritable, maybe more-- and I love you, so it doesn't matter. Not for either one of us.

I love you. And I'm not going anywhere. All right?

All right.

[He sighs and closes his eyes, leaning his forehead against Sirius' heavily.]

Sorry. 'S not very sexy.

[He sighs quietly, slipping his arms around him to tug him closer.]

You know, weirdly, you are still sexy. Slightly. I would still like to shag you, maybe because I love you so much.

Yeah?

[He says that hopefully and scoots forward, squeezing Sirius' hips with his knees.]

Tell me more about how sexy you find me and then let's-- you know-- have at it.

[He grins a little breathlessly at that shift and that sudden pressure, and reaches up to trace his fingertips against Remus' cheek, thoughtfully.]

Mmh. Where to begin, that's the question... well, your mouth, as I'm looking at it. It's a good mouth.

[He pushes his thumb over Remus' lower lip, slowly.]

Nice shape to it, and I like what it can do....

[He laughs softly, ridiculously pleased and turned on both, and parts his mouth just slightly.]

[He traces his finger back, watching the way that Remus' mouth moves under his touch--little movements, nothing big.]

[He sighs that happily, utterly pleased by the request-- Sirius is so clever, thinking of something sexy like that-- and tilts his head forward, taking his fingers into his mouth with a happy hum. And it's easy, at least, to do this; there's nothing simpler than sucking. Right? Right.]

[It's a little sloppy--but of course it is, Remus is bloody drunk, it's going to be a bit sloppy--and that doesn't mean it's not appreciated, and the little hum helps, too, a gentle vibratey sensation that sends a chill down his spine. He grins at Remus.]

[He laughs, which sort of ruins the sexy vibe he's trying for, and tilts his head back proudly.]

[He laughs again, the sound far higher-pitched than it normally is.]

The first time you kissed me, I checked out every romance book the library had to find out how to, to do things right.

[He leans back a little so he can see more of his face, the drunky happy flush on his cheeks, and he begins to grin vaguely at him.]

You didn't, I don't believe you. You didn't even call my muscles ripply once, which you would have, if you'd read romance novels as research--

[He wrinkles his nose.]

I wanted to know how to do sex things. How to-- to be good. You knew all that stuff and I didn't, but there wasn't a one that told me how-- how to suck you off, or, or even give you a handjob--

[He smiles, fondly, and brushes his fingers against Remus' cheek, gentle.]

I didn't know it. Not really. I knew about girls, yeah, but you're not a girl-- anyway, if you didn't have books, how did you work it out, eh?

[He tilts his head over, biting at Sirius' fingers again.]

And prayed. A lot.

[His grin slips back into place, quickly, with another little shiver.]

Clever. Very clever. You are a quick learner, Lupin, well done. I don't know that I ever rewarded you for that, y'know. Remind me later, I owe you a reward.

You could reward me now. Lots and lots--

[He leans forward, laughing quietly, kissing him sloppily.]

I wanna-- wanna suck you off--

[He may never get used to Remus talking like that. It's always disconcerting, this voice he's associated with reading poetry and telling him off and homework, saying things like I wanna suck you off--God, that's something, and he bites at his lip with a little grin.]

That's what you want? You don't want me to suck you off for a reward?

[He frowns down at him. Earnestly:]

[Ksdhswerb is about the only equivalent to the sound that Sirius makes in his head at that. What the hell do you say to that? How do you turn that down? Well, that one's easy: you do not turn that down, you say well yes I suppose that can be allowed--]

[It's a little bit of awe, it's all pleased and full of love, and he touches his fingertips to his cheek again.]

Like I'm going to say no to that-- like you have to say please--

[He leans in to kiss him again, though enthusiasm and drunkenness both make it a rather poor one.]

Wanna know what else I like?

[A kiss is still a kiss, thanks. He'll take it, sloppy though it is, and he grins at Remus when he starts talking again.]

I'd thought you liked focus and following through with things, but apparently that was wrong. What else d'you like?

[He narrows his eyes a little, uncertain if that's a joke at his expense-- but whatever, moving on! He pats at Sirius' cheek fondly.]

I liiiike-- I like it when you act really, really su-- superior-- and I like when you surprise me-- and I like you--

[He sighs that last one happily, almost overcome with the sudden surge of love.]

Lots. I like you lots.

[He smiles at him fondly-- but oh, right, he was going to do something, wasn't he? Belatedly Remus begins worming out of Sirius' lap, trying to make it down onto the floor.]

I like you lots as well--

[He's laughing, but there's a little prickle as well, as Remus starts to slip down--it's really unfair that he's drunk, he sort of feels as if he's taking advantage of him, even if he's saying he wants it--and God, but he's sexy still, all flushed and smiley and crawling off of his lap onto his knees--]

Shall I act superior now? Will that help?

Noooo--

[He shoves at Sirius' knees a bit roughly, the action punishing.]

It's not right if you do it intentionally, don't be a prat--

[And now there's trousers to contend with. Right. Remus squints at them for a few seconds before haphazardly yanking at the fastenings, trying like hell to open them.]

A prat?

[He repeats that somewhat incredulously as he stares down at Remus--and then he reaches to knock his hands out of the way, to take hold of the fastenings and do it himself.]

Do it right, Lupin.
