[ he's there early, but she's too far to get there that fast, heading straight from her rounds up on the upper passenger floors. luckily the lock on her door recognizes Remus nanites by now, lets him in without a fuss. there's a tiny bit of panic that hits her when she returns to her rooms and sees the door has already been unlocked, but. no. duh. of course he just got there before her. ]
Check you out, beating me here. Though maybe I shouldn't be too shocked.
Maybe it is. Maybe you've been cursed to like me this much. Maybe all this time I've secretly been a witch and I've been charming and enchanting you in hopes that you'd one day find me completely irresistible.
[ she's quick to crawl onto the bed with him, kissing him enthusiastically on the cheek before curling up behind him ( big spoon? almost ), one arm circling around his middle while the other holds up her upperbody a little bit, just so she can see over his shoulder ]
Whatcha reading?
[ yep she's just going to stay right here because if it's something interesting, then it's story time ]
[ it's her neck, and she ends up laughing, surprised by it. ]
Would you really know? Is there a way to tell?
[ she's still hugging him tight, although there's room for him to move however he wants, if he wants. well. there's room, but she's being clingy, so. ]
[He twists in her arms, but only so he can face her properly.]
I couldn't sense it. But if you were, you'd have noticed. The magic would have manifested itself; it's how we can tell when muggleborn children have magic. It's things like-- oh, I don't know. Oh, here's an example: when I was a child, my mother wanted to bring me to a doctor, but I was so terrified I managed to magically lock myself in my room. It took her ages to work a way in.
[He kisses her throat gently.]
'S raw magic, fueled by strong emotions. Desire, or fear-- once I managed to make a jar of chocolates fly to me. I ended up knocking out two of my baby teeth, actually, since I had the whole jar fly toward me and I didn't realize in time. So we'd know, because you would have noticed-- things would happen to you that you couldn't explain.
[ Raven stays propped up over him while he talks, because yes, she's still absolutely in the phase of things that includes being completely enamored with the things he says and how he says them and how his mouth forms the words and all the little details that come with it, so she's kind of watching him with that adoration written all over her face cause how can she not. Remus can explain things to her all day long, if he likes. she likes his explaining voice. it's a great voice.
pausing just to kiss her is kinda perfect too ]
Does it still happen to you? Or do you grow out of that kind of thing? Magic reacting to your emotions, I mean. I haven't grown out of letting my emotions influence my shifting, not really. It's different now with what the serum did, but my eyes used to slip when I was feeling distracted in whatever way.
Sometimes. It would have to be very strong emotion-- but if, say, you were in danger, or hurt, things might explode around me. But other things don't trigger it-- sadness or, ah, lust, say.
God, and probably the people that live in the room above mine.. [ her kiss turns into a bite, the soft pressure of her teeth tugging at his bottom lip ]
[ juuuust going to snuggle up with him again, her arm curled against his chest so she can fuss with the zip of his jumpsuit. nothing fresh, really, just fussing. ]
[He grins a little as he feels her fingers, but begins. It's a good tale, about an ugly girl and a scheming duchess, and Remus' voice is quiet and even as he tells it.]
text;
Well. Coincidentally, I happen to love and adore you. Nice, isn't it?
By the way, apparently Sirius is kicking us out of my room so he can have sex with his not-girlfriend. Do we:
A) simply use your room
B) wage war
sexy war

[He twists, nuzzling against whatever bit of her presents itself first, neck or shoulder or arm.]
And you're talking to a wizard. I'd know if you were a witch.

[ her smile probably shouldn't been looking so devious right now, should it ]
I think that sounds like a fun challenge to beat- can I drive you crazy enough to make something in my room explode..
no subject
If anyone could do it, it's you, god only knows.

[His fingers knot into her hair, tugging on it lightly as he kisses her hungrily.]
Shall we try?
no subject
Well we can't try now, you'll be thinking about it, you're too in control. It has to be when you're not expecting it.
[ which is all said kind of against his mouth, broken up with kisses, but she means it. ..she does!! ]
You should-
[ ok one more kiss ]
You should read to me. [ grrrrrrin ] Are there any other books on your datapad?
no subject
[He noses against her, scrubbing against her hair, before grinning and poking at his datapad.]
Right. Right, here's one, it's about a duchess.
no subject
Okay. Ready. Tell me about this duchess.
