[He yelps and scrambles back, trying like hell to escape that, windmilling his arms wildly to try and keep Sirius off.]

[But he gives chase--if not a headlock, then an armlock, perhaps--]

Hold still and take your thumping--you asked for it--

[He flails his free arm, still trying and failing to fight his friend off.]

Sirius, come on, don't, there's no need for this!

[But he's latched on now, he's not letting go so easily as that. He holds to Remus, laughing.]

Then take it back!

Oh-- oh, fine, he loves you, he adores you, he thinks all your stupid jokes are funny, now let go!

[doggedly]

Well done!

[And Sirius rewards him by letting go, just as he was instructed. He beams at Remus, as if he hadn't just been holding him in that headlock.]

Yes, but not my year. I neglected to mention my year. And I didn't really lie so much as not admitting to the full truth. It's subtle, but it makes all the difference in the world.
