Remus? Um - what's yours and Sirius' opinions on cats? Kittens, specifically.

Er-- I don't mind them? I mean, I think I'm a bit more of a dog person, but I don't dislike cats. Why?

It's only - Lily brought up the idea of us all living together and it sounds wonderful, but I have a cat now and I just wanted to be sure that you didn't mind? She's only a baby and she's no trouble, I promise.

Oh! No, I wouldn't mind, no, not at all. I'd only be worried about Iggy, but he's a baby himself; I doubt he'll do much to her.

They seemed more interested in each other than anything else on camera, so I think we should be fine. I just didn't want to step on any toes - this is our home, after all.

I think that with all of us they'll both get far too much attention, honestly. But, yes, her name is Crooks - one moment, I'll just...

Very much so. I've missed living with friends, to be frank.

I got to spend summer with them, at the Burrow, but nothing like this. It's going to be amazing, getting to spend time with everyone. Especially you - a-and Sirius, of course. [ Pause. ] The Summer I spent at Grimmauld Place with you both was wonderful.

--you know, I'm not surprised Sirius and I live together, but in Grimmauld Place?

Well, Sirius was in hiding and the house belonged to him. It seemed logical.

I-- yes, I suppose, though god, he must have been miserable.

[But let's not go there, shall we? Better to focus on the future-- their future.]

Er-- anyway. I imagine you, Lily and I will be the only ones concerned with decoration; would you like to go and buy paint soon?

I think he might have been, at least at first. But he brightened up over the holidays when we all visited - and you stayed with him, of course.

Lily has already roped me in to making Christmas decorations with her - but I'd love to go and pick some paint out. I'm going to go crazy and say... Scarlets?

We are all Gryffindors. It seems in poor taste not to include our original house colors.

Well, we could branch out a little, couldn't we? Scarlet, yes, but perhaps some cream, a little turquoise...

Turquoise, truly? Blue might be nice, something like the sky . . .

Sky blue! Oh, that would be wonderful! Maybe we can pain the lounge blue and white? And we could do the upper hallway a nice scarlet, like the dorms at Hogwarts?

Definitely. We'll press-gang the others into it, even if they don't particularly care for one. Lily will back us up on this.

I think that with you, Lily and myself combined they won't be able to say no for a second. Even Harry would agree with us - he knows better than to argue with me about libraries now.
