no, it- at least, for me it was really like i was never here at all all the things i learned about myself, the future, all of it but it didn't feel like i had been gone either, life just continued on i can remember it all now, even the break in time, but
i feel like i should be telling you this in person
Clearly she already knows, or at least suspects. There's hardly any harm. You chatting her up, as you put it, can vastly change things, because you have a history of making girls sweet on you and that's not in Le Morte d'Arthur.
[ that cheerful knock is met with a cheerful response, or at least a quick one anyway, the door sliding open just a couple seconds later, a wide grin on Raven's face ]
Hi.
[ the 'come in, come in' is implied, or at least.. physically demanded because she's reaching out to take his hand, tugging him into the room ]
[ it is, it's difficult being serious about serious things when the person you're with, or just being with the person you're with, makes you smile. she still gets that wound-up happy feeling in her chest, the one that comes with i like you and holding hands with someone you do, in fact, like in return. and it's all very cheesy, but that's the truth of it. so she doesn't let go of his hand until she's flopping down on her bed, uses her arms to push herself back until she's leaning against the wall. which, of course, is cold, so she grabs her pillows ( hey, there are a lot of empty rooms on the first floor now, so yeah, she took a few extra pillows ) and props them up along the wall where it meets the side of her bed, and pats the spot next to her ]
I like it, too. [ it's still very newnewnew, being ..well, cozy with someone in a not-platonic way, but it's not too tricky learning to relax into it. it's not long before she's brushing her fingers back into his hair, absently playing with it like she always seems to do ] I'd keep you close all the time if it wouldn't be completely selfish of me.
